Attorney Michelle Raymond, as the head of the firm’s Domestic Relations Practice Group and shareholder, focuses her practice in mediation, collaborative law, and divorce litigation. She assists her clients through their difficult legal and personal times with a focus on the prevention of future legal entanglements. Ms. Raymond provides mediation and litigation services for all family-related disputes, including, but not limited to: divorce, child support, post-divorce, parenting plans, paternity, separation, estate or guardianship, and non-traditional family issues.   In addition, she works with families in the areas of adoption and parent coordination.  Attorney Raymond works with a team of professionals to guide her clients through the often stressful and overwhelming decisions involved in the divorce process.  In addition to the legal aspects of family law, she focuses on helping her clients maintain and regain control over the decisions that affect their lives, integrity, and confidence all in a confidential setting.

Ms. Raymond is a trained and experienced mediator who has helped clients mediate family and other disputes since 2000. Her mediation services offer a cost-effective alternative for family, probate, civil, and business disputes, and provide parties with more control over the process. Ms. Raymond also practices collaborative law in divorce & family matters and has since 2003.  Collaborative law is an alternative dispute resolution process in which both parties and counsel contract to negotiate without court involvement.  It provides clients with the assurance of having legal counsel involved throughout the divorce process with the added advantages of having financial and child/divorce coaches directly involved.

Attorney Raymond is a cum laude graduate of the Boston University School of Law and a magna cum laude graduate of the University of South Florida. She received Boston University School of Law’s Honorable Albert P. Pettoruto Memorial Award in 1998 for excellence in family law.  She was a Guardian ad Litem in Florida and a finalist for “Outstanding Guardian ad Litem Award” in 1995.

Ms. Raymond is active in her community and schools, serving on parent/teacher boards, and previously serving as a North Attleborough Town Meeting Representative, as Co-Chairman of the North Attleborough Town Meeting Coordinating Committee, and as a member of the Rotary Club of North Attleboro/Plainville. She is currently a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, Massachusetts Council on Family Mediation, and Massachusetts Collaborative Law Council.  Attorney Raymond is past Chairperson of the Women’s Success Network which celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2010.  She is a current member of the My Wealth Management Team.

Attorney Raymond has presented seminars along with other professionals and judges for MetroWest Legal Services, Women’s Success Network, HarborOne U, Massachusetts Department of Family and Children, and other community organizations on divorce options, alimony law updates, mediation, the professional team approach, including the program “What Every Woman Should Know About the Law™” for parents, grandparents and fathers.  She firmly believes in the team approach of assisting clients through crisis situations.  She also understands how legal and financial professionals can support clients by preventing future legal problems through education and preparing for the unexpected.
