Attorney Named "Super Lawyer"


FRANKLIN AND MEDFIELD - Attorney John G. Dugan, of Millis, Massachusetts has been named a Super Lawyer in the 2007 issue of New England Super Lawyers. The Super Lawyer list consists of the top five percent (5%) of the attorneys in Massachusetts and is the result of an extensive review process.

Attorney Dugan is a partner at the law firm of Doherty, Ciechanowski, Dugan & Cannon, P.C. which has offices in Franklin and Medfield Massachusetts.

John G. Dugan has been engaged in the practice of law for over thirty years and concentrates his practice in the areas of trusts and estates, probate practice and family law. He is a 1972 graduate of the College of Holy Cross and a 1975 graduate of Suffolk University School of Law. He has received Martindale Hubbell's highest peer review rating of AV.

Mr. Dugan instructs at seminars and conferences presented by the Massachusetts Bar Association and Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, Inc. He recently held the position of Vice President of the Massachusetts Bar Association and is a Past President of both the Bar Association of Norfolk County and the Western Norfolk County Bar Association. In 1999, he was awarded the Outstanding Service Award by South Middlesex Legal Services, Inc.

From 1977 through 2002, Mr. Dugan served as Moderator of the Town of Millis. In addition, Mr. Dugan is a past president of the Millis Little League, and currently serves as a Corporator of Strata Bank.

Doherty, Ciechanowski, Dugan & Cannon, P.C. was formed in May 2003 by the merger of Doherty & Ciechanowski, P.C. and the Law Offices of Dugan & Cannon.
