Daniel W. Nye
Daniel W. Nye is an Attorney and a Certified Public Accountant who concentrates in the areas of estate planning, estate settlement, elder law, will and trust drafting and administration and related areas of tax planning and practice. He works with families and business owners to preserve their assets and plan for the transfer of wealth in an orderly and tax efficient manner. He also works with elders who are concerned about their legal and tax issues. Elder law issues include planning for physical or mental incapacity, and protecting the family home and assets from spend down for long term care costs under the Medicaid/ Nursing Home regulations.
Attorney Nye is a graduate of Boston University, from which he holds an undergraduate degree (BA-1970) and an advanced law degree in tax planning and practice (LLM-Tax-1984). He also holds a law degree (JD-1975) and a Master of Taxation degree (MBA-Tax- 1976) from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, California.
Mr. Nye is a life long resident of Medfield. He is active in the Medfield community, where he served for eleven years on the town's Planning Board and Warrant Committee. He is a member and past president of the town's employers organization known as MEMO.
