John G. Dugan
John G. Dugan has been engaged in the practice of law for over thirty years and concentrates his practice in the areas of trusts and estates, probate practice and family law. Mr. Dugan is a 1972 graduate of the College of the Holy Cross and a 1975 graduate of Suffolk University School of Law. He has received Martindale Hubbell’s highest peer review rating of AV. Mr. Dugan is frequently appointed by the Probate and Family Court as Master, Special Master, Guardian ad Litem and Fiduciary for various probate and family matters. Mr. Dugan also represents individuals in divorce proceedings.
Mr. Dugan instructs at seminars and conferences presented by the Massachusetts Bar Association and Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education, Inc. He recently held the position of Vice President of the Massachusetts Bar Association and is a Past President of both the Bar Association of Norfolk County and the Western Norfolk County Bar Association. In 1999, he was awarded the Outstanding Service Award by South Middlesex Legal Services, Inc.
From 1977 through 2002, Mr. Dugan served as Moderator of the Town of Millis. In addition, Mr. Dugan is a past president of the Millis Little League, as well as a Corporator and Trustee of Strata Bank.
John Dugan was selected as a Massachusetts Super lawyer in 2006 and 2007, as published in Boston Magazine and in Massachusetts Super Lawyers Magazine. Five percent of Massachusetts lawyers receive this honor each year. Selection procedure includes peer nomination, a blue ribbon panel review process and independent research on the candidates.
